Jiu Jitsu

Jiu Jitsu will resume on Tuesday, November 30th, 2021.  Participants can pay the daily entrance fee ($5), or they have the option of purchasing a recreation punch pass, which can be used for a variety of Community Center Gym activities. 

Instructor Matt Nore will provide Jiu Jitsu instruction for adults 18yrs and up.  

Jiu Jitsu is a fun sport that welcomes everyone, regardless of skill level.  The sport helps to build a tight-knit community, while teaching self-defense, patience, humility, discipline and problem solving skills.


  • TUESDAYS + THURSDAYS: 5:30pm-7:00pm
  • SATURDAYS: 9:00am-10:30am
  • LOCATION: Community Center Gym (Old Gym)
  • AGE: 18yrs and up
  • FEE: $5 drop-in fee or recreation punch passes available!
  • Keep all nails trimmed
  • No outside street shoes on mats
  • Participants are encouraged to order a white Gi, and white belt. If you don't have a Gi, wear athletic shorts + tee (no pockets)
  • Mask up as you move about the building
  • Do not attend class if you are experiencing ANY COVID symptoms
  • If you are a close contact of a positive COVID case, please follow current CDC guidelines
  • Wash your hands prior to, and after, activity
  • Wipe down equipment and supplies as directed
