SIXTY NUMBERED MARKERS will be placed outside, in various parks + trails, at the pool, in the weight room, near the cardio equipment and in the racquetball/wallyball court.
Participants will complete an outdoor or indoor workout, then snap a photo with the numbered MARKER and share it to the Wrangell Parks & Recreation Facebook Page, or email us at email@example.com.
We will progressively place the MARKERS throughout the challenge, helping to keep folks motivated the entire time. Participants should not submit the same MARKER # twice. We're hoping that folks will diversify their exercise routine through this challenge. Performing a verity of activities promotes better overall fitness, and helps humans avoid injury.
The numbered MARKERS will look like the logo design for the challenge. We'll do our best to place them in highly visible locations. Please do not remove the MARKERS.
We will be sure to generally indicate where the MARKERS are located, and we will let participants know when new MARKERS are released!

We are encouraging folks to participate in AT LEAST 30 minutes of daily movement in order to enter your photo. The more you move, the more you can submit. If you complete two activities per day, then you can submit two photos, with the numbered MARKER. If you snap a photo with MARKER numbers 1-60, your name will be entered into the door prize drawing sixty times!!
Cardio: These workouts can range from use of several workout machines in the facility, jogging outdoors is encouraged, too.
Weights: Combinations of Body weight, Free weight, and weight machine exercises are encouraged!
Aquatics: Join us for lap/tot/open swims, along with water aerobics or arthritis classes! Build your endurance, gain mobility and range of motion. Bring along your pals!
Nature Trail: Run or walk
Mt. Dewey Trail: Run, walk or power hike
Rainbow Falls: Run, walk or power hike
Bike Path: Run, walk or bike
City Park: Add it to your walk, bike or run
Shoemaker Park: Add it to your walk, bike or run
Covered Basketball Court: Complete an outdoor workout
#5 Bike Path: Light/power pole at 2 mile turn out
#8 City Park: Tree just before creek bridge
#6 City Park: Tree near the road at the South end of the park
#9 City Hall Lawn: Light/power pole, North end
#7 Nature Trail: Long loop, on a tree near sign - right across from bench
#10 Nature Trail: Short loop, located on the tree between midway benches

Remember, each MARKER represents at least 30 minutes of activity. You can certainly submit two MARKER photos per day, just be sure you're committing to the 30 minutes of activity per MARKER. In an effort to mix up your activity, please do not submit the same MARKER number more than one time. We will be posting more MARKERS in similar locations, so keep your eyes peeled. That said, we really want you to add variety to your life. That is one of the goals of this push!
