PARTY IN THE PARKS 2019!

In an effort to engage middle school kids in an outdoor setting, we've created PARTY IN THE PARKS, a social event where kids can come together for snacks, an outdoor game, a campfire and music! These gatherings will take place several times throughout the summer.

PLEASE NOTE:
Parks & Recreation staff will be available from 7-9pm, facilitating a game, providing snacks, managing the fire and playing music. The staff team is not responsible for transportation, or coordinating post-event plans for participants. Parents and guardians should discuss their expectations regarding participation, behaviors and whether or not they want their child leaving the event early.

• These events are for Middle School age kids, incoming 6th graders and outgoing 8th graders are welcome!
• Each event fee: $5.00 per person
• June 12th: City Park Main Shelter
• June 19th: Shoemaker Park
• July 10th: Volunteer Park
• July 24th: City Park Main Shelter
• August 7th: Volunteer Park
• August 21st: Shoemaker Park
• Dates and location can change. Be sure to register for the events to ensure you'll be notified of changes, updates, etc. Contact the pool office with questions!

• Demonstrate respect for peers and the staff team
• Help keep the park clean by throwing trash in the garbage bins provided
• Refrain from using illegal substances
• Treat the park shelters, equipment and site with respect
• Zero tolerance policy regarding bullying, threats, sexual harassment or physical altercations
• Parks & Recreation staff are not responsible for transporting attendees to or from event
• Parents/guardians will provide expectations regarding post-event plans
• Parks & Recreation staff are not responsible for those attendees that leave the event
