Private Swim Lessons 2018

All private lessons are based on the American Red Cross Learn To Swim Program levels I-VI; from learning basic water skills to developing advanced swim techniques. Participants will be taught skills at the level which is most appropriate for their age and ability. Each participant must provide their own swim suit, goggles, towel, etc.., and should be ready to enter the water at the scheduled session time. It is important to arrive early enough to dress down, as your thirty minutes begins when the session is scheduled, not when the participant enters the water.

American Red Cross Certified Water Safety Instructor, Briana Schilling, is now available to teach private swim lessons. Having been a swim instructor for just over five years, Briana has taught students of all ages and abilities. She is passionate about helping students learn and succeed in the water.

• 5:15PM-5:45PM
• 5:45PM-6:15PM
• 6:15PM-6:45PM
• Participants will access one lane with their instructor during the regularly scheduled Lap Swims.
• Friday Morning
• 8:30AM-9:00AM
• 9:00AM-9:30AM
• 10:00AM-10:30AM
• 10:30AM-11:00AM
• Participants will access one lane with their instructor during the regularly scheduled Arthritis Aerobics Class.
• Make-up sessions may be conducted on Saturdays.

• Participants will receive a 25% discount when they register in pairs.
• Participants must live in the same household to receive the discount.
• Ideally participants who register in pairs will be of a similar ability level.
• All registrants are encouraged to speak with the instructor prior to their first session.

• Briana is a contracted instructor for Parks and Recreation.
• All scheduling and registrations are completed with WPR management software (www.wrangellrec.com)
• A full refund or credit will be issued if the department cancels a private lesson for any reason.
• Because the private lessons are limited enrollment and cannot be resold after registration, NO refund/credit will be issued for NO SHOWS.
• If you are unable to attend a sessions that you have already registered for, please contact Parks and Recreation as soon as feasible. We will do our best to reschedule you, although there are no guarantees.
